Episode 9: Taste off, you hosers!

Gonso presents several different varieties of booze for us to taste, and determine which is which. Unfortunately, we went into this competition just 'slightly buzzed' so we were a bit off our game. And Clarke discovers an embarrassing truth about his love for a beer he never thought possible.

In this first official Taste-Off we try:
• Pilsner Beers
• Herbal Liqueurs
• Belgian Abbey Ales
• Single Malt Scotch
• Irish Stouts

So, you can see how we got just slightly RIPPED during this tasting. Maybe next time we'll just have one or two. I don't think we quite remember how this ended, so it'll be as big a surprise to us as it is to you.

Coors? Jesus, is this show ever going downhill. First Pabst, now Coors. What's next - Fallstaff?

You guys are a bunch of drunks. And I love it.

How come you aren't showing up on iTunes. I haven't seen a new show come out since March Madness. What-up-wit-dat?

Hey d00d - big fan of your show. I'm not sure why you're not getting us on iTunes. It appears to be updating on every new release.

Try this URL:

Let me know if you continue to have trouble.

Thanks for listening.

Frank, I think if we could get our hands on some Fallstaff, we'd drink it - just for kicks.

But we'd rather not.

Thanks for tuning in, and commenting on the board. New shows coming soon, including a Cinco de Mayo special next weekend. Stay tuned.

It's showing up in iTunes for me.

Murphy's & Guinness are actually pretty close in taste to me too, but not everyone agrees. Frank McCourt had a great Q&A about them on Barnes & Noble's web site:

Q: Could you settle the great debate? Guinness or Murphy's.

A: Is there a great debate? I wasn't aware. I'd have to say Guinness. Murphy's is too sweet, too sugary. You prefer Murphy's, don't you?

Good show, guys. Can't wait for the next one.
